The body of the blimp is a Pelican 1200 case, and the lens tube parts are made from 4" PVC pipe fittings. The 'standard' lens tube seen here is for the 85 mm lens. The tube is glued permanently to the case using a collar and short inner tube arrangement.

The mount for the remote trigger is a cold shoe adapter that I got from eBay, which turned out to be too high - I have to reach further than is comfortable for the release, with my hand supporting the blimp on a tripod. I will eventually replace this with a lower-profile adapter.
